My name is Aubrey Bemis. I am a 24-year-old in search of direction. I have a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in creative writing from Washington College and a master's degree in humanities and social thought from NYU. I do not know what one does with a degree in humanities and social thought. If you find someone who knows, please have that person contact me. I enjoy riding my bike, reading in the park and consuming fancy coffee. I live in Brooklyn, New York with my trusty cat Isador.

The term "flailing idiot" is not defined by the Oxford English Dictionary, Merriam-Webster or Dictionary.com. Thus, I cannot provide you with its exact meaning. I can tell you that I often feel like a flailing idiot. Sometimes I feel like more than one flailing idiot, as though many flailing idiots are swimming through my brain. And, should I ever spontaneously develop musical talent, I will name my band The Flailing Idiots.
Flailing Idiots is my personal blog where I post whatever I personally feel like writing, whenever I personally feel like writing it. It is an inconsistent, unpredictable act of total online self indulgence. I promise nothing, but appreciate your attention.
